TERMS & CONDITIONS

All works of art are acceptable, we welcome proposals with pre-performance or re-installation documentation. The organiser reserves the right to exclude at any stage work that is dangerous in nature, health & safety risk, or is deemed inappropriate. By entering your submission to the Open you are agreeing that the organisers can use your images and information for the promotion of the exhibition and future Open exhibitions. Please provide any special credit details. All applicants have to be over the age of 18

Selection and inclusion of works.

One work from each application will be selected by the organisers. Selection for the Worcester City Art Gallery will be carried out by an independent selection panel. The selectors and organisers decisions are final. All applicants will be informed of the decision by the mid March 2010. All applicants will be notified which one (or more) of their art-works will be required for delivery

Delivery.

All work must be delivered to the PITT artist-run space on the Friday 2nd April and Saturday 3rd April between 9am and 4pm All unsold work must be collected from the PITT and Worcester City Art Gallery on Sunday 27th, Monday 28th June or Saturday 3rd July. Further delivery details will be confirmed after selection.

Sales.

The Exhibition has a 35% commission. This will be deducted from your stated price. The organisers are not permitted to offer advice on valuation. All works will remain in the exhibition until the end of the show run. Indemnity All applicants are advised that due to the nature of the exhibition all artists should insure their own works against damage, theft, vandalism, loss and fire, we recommend artist contact AIR services provided by a-n magazine. The organisers do not accept any liability for work(s) lost, damaged, stolen whilst on in storage, during hanging, on display or in transit.

Entry Fee .

Entry fee £15 for three works, the fee covers administration, professional development and is non-refundable, pay online via PayPal, or by post making cheques payable to PITT studio. NOTE: DO NOT SEND ORIGINALS IN THE FIRST INSTANCE, Images only, submissions of actual works will not be accepted at this stage. ALL SUBMISSION IMAGES ARE NON-RETURNABLE. Works must be fit to hang in accordance with the wider Worcester City Art Gallery hang policy, works which are deemed offensive or inapproriate are not acceptable. Project Managers / Exhibitions Managers decision is final.
